Many thanks to MK McClintock for allowing me to join this giveaway even though I missed the deadline. I was on vacation all weekend and therefore couldn’t post this on Saturday. Without further ado, let’s get to the giveaway.
I am excited to announce that I have one signed copy of my book, A Mighty Fortress to giveaway today. Due to international shipping costs being too much, I am restricting this giveaway to US only.
“Stay back!” Joshua ordered. He kept his eyes on the scene below while waving his arm in Ruth’s direction. “Get deeper into the woods and stay down low to the ground.”
Joshua hazarded a glance behind him. He could no longer see Ruth and breathed a sigh of relief. In one swift move, he grabbed his rifle and lay flat to the ground. Extending the rifle, he aimed at the shorter man whose gun was pointed at Bradshaw.
Joshua and Ruth Brookings are traveling by stagecoach to finally join their parents in Montana. Attacked by murderous outlaws, the teens barely escape with their lives and must survive in the barren Wyoming and Montana territories and escape the man who’s hunting them.
Seven years ago, Jed Stuart ran away from home and joined Tom’s gang. Jed is tired of the lawlessness and wants out. The only problem? He is the boss’s right-hand man and will never be able to leave. And what’s one more stagecoach robbery, anyway?
Can Joshua lean on God’s strength to keep himself and his sister alive until they find a town? Will Jed be able to face his anger or will it consume him completely? All three are running–the hunter and hunted. What will happen when they meet?

One of my favorite is Janette Oke although.
Well i’m not sure about favorite but the first western-ish series that stuck with me would have to be the Little House on the Prairie series. Good memories reading them as a kid.

haven’t read a western in ages, something about the sacketts
I love the Sacketts! Louis L’Amour is one of the authors who inspired me to write Westerns.
My favorites are the ones that introduced me to a western – Janet Daley and the Calder Series. I still love those and that was about 30 yrs ago.

I’ve never heard of those. I might just have to look them up. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
My favorite western author is Susan Marlow. Besides her I haven’t read many other western books that were wholesome. Your book looks good though!
Thank you, Holly! 🙂
I haven’t read hardly any westerns, and I guess “The Stout-Hearted Seven, Orphaned on the Oregon Trail” would be the closest. It was really good, and of course I also like reading the “Little House on the Prairie” books when I was younger. I’ll have to get my hands on some good westerns sometime. Your book looks really good, and I hope to read it! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by, Emily!
I like shirleen davies.
