Shadow on the Mountain: A review

Shadow on the Mountain

Introduction:

When I first received this book, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I certainly didn’t expect this. “Shadow of the Mountain” was insightful, interesting, and made me think about parts of the Exodus story in a very different light.

Characters: .75/1

I loved how Cliff brought in so many different well known characters, but little mentioned, from the Bible to fit into the story. Characters like Othniel, Joshua, and others whose names escape me. It was sometimes hard to understand the motivation of some of the characters, but otherwise, the character development was great. Continue reading

The Liebster Award

Raechel was kind enough to award me the Liebster Award. What is the award? Well, basically it just means she got the award and had to tag other bloggers to do it. 🙂 Here’s the rules:

The Rules:

1. Link back to the blogger who nominated you.
2. Answer the 11 new questions.
3. Nominate other bloggers (however many or few as you’d like).
4. Create 11 new questions for the bloggers you nominated.

It’s that simple. So now to answer the questions she gave me. *trembles in fear and trepidation*

Today dawn’s a new day

Picture22Wow. The last four weeks have been a whirlwind and very different. First, I published Amazing Grace on Kindle, then I finished the rough draft of Lily of the Valley and the editing of I Love Thee, next I had problems with the paperback for Amazing Grace. Through all of this, I resigned from my job, giving my boss a four week notice.

Yesterday was my last day working there and today is my first day of being home full-time to write full-time. It’s an exciting time and I am so thankful to have a supportive family. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to do this at all. So, thank you Dad, Mom, Lydia, Naomi, and Seth!

I’m really looking forward to what God has planned for me, but I also know I’m going to need accountability and support. If you would like to help hold me accountable, please email, Facebook message, or call me (if you have my phone number) and I would love to talk with you to figure out a way for you to hold me accountable. If you would simply like to support me you can either send me money (just kidding!), pray for me (requests listed below), or send me an encouraging note somehow at various times. Thank you!
