And, yes, this is another new book. Memoirs of a Girl Who Loves God was published on June 18, 2015. I haven’t read it, but it looks intriguing.
About the Book
Fourteen-year-old Krystal finds herself flailing when her parents separate. Unable to cope, she begins cutting. No one knows.
At her new school, she makes one single friend, Em, who invites her to volunteer at the local homeless shelter. There, Krystal discovers fellow misfits, including Brandon, a boy from her school. How can Krystal start a new life when the scars of her old one will never fully heal?
About the Author
JANE-OF-ALL-TRADES means I dabble… a lot. One of my favorite things to dabble in is photography. I took a few classes about a hundred years ago and I’ve never let it go. I’ve shot several weddings and tons of senior pics. I also took the photo of the girl who is featured on my book. Yep, kinda proud of myself for that one.
We are a family of four. Two adults and two fur-monsters. My spouse, whom I call my ‘honey of twenty’ because we’ve been together for that long now, are big animal lovers. Both of our fur-monsters are seniors. Our dog is approximately thirteen and our cat is a whopping seventeen-years-old. No lie. He’s still spry as ever, too!
I’ve been wanting to write a book for about a hundred years now. For too long, I let life get in the way. Sometimes I told myself I was crazy for thinking it. Didn’t have the time. Wouldn’t be good enough. Can you hear the negativity? Yep, I had to shut that voice down. My better half is one of those people who are so positive that it can be annoying. Mostly because he’s usually right. So thanks to him… well, thanks to God first and foremost, I wrote my first book and am now working on my second, which is the sequel.
