Life and Salvation is a collection of I Love Thee, Pass Me Not, and Redeemed. As you may recall, each story has slight tie-ins to Amazing Grace. In I Love Thee, Cole Baxter writes to Maggie before realizing he almost made the biggest mistake of his life. In Amazing Grace, Caleb reads mail order brides advertisements written by Abigail and Mona and chooses Maggie’s instead. In Pass Me Not and Redeemed both young women get their own stories told.
