Well, I’m one of the winners. A few months ago, I submitted a short story to the Space Kitties contest. A few weeks ago, E Kaiser Writes informed me that I am one of the winners! What does this mean? It means that my story will be in an anthology of other stories about kitties in space.
Now that you know I have a short sci-fi story (something I’ve kind of kept a secret), you are probably wondering what it’s about. Well, it’s about a kitty in space. (duh!) Okay,ย I’ll stop teasing you.
Here’s a synopsis I just wrote up for it.
Jorde Luke Richter loves Space Trek: The New Generation so much so that he changed his name to be similar to the characters and has a cat named Data. Yep, that would be me. I love JLR, but now he’s gone. He’s on a spaceship searching for life on other planets and couldn’t take me with him. Until the day he sneaked me on board using the transport systems. And it was a good thing, too, because right after getting there, I heard mice in the ceiling.
By the way, this isn’t the first Space Kitties book. E. Kaiser Writes compiled one last year that is super cute! To find out more on it, click the book cover below.

I am super excited to work with E. Kaiser Writes and get this anthology published. Keep watching my blog to find out updates.
