Thankfulness Challenge, Day 1

Starting today, I am going to do a short post each day this month as part of a self-inflicted 30 Days of Thanks Challenge. I encourage you to do the same. Feel free to nab the picture or make your own. If you can’t get this picture, but want to use it, send me an email and I’ll get it to you ASAP.

Day One

I am thankful for a loving, protective father. Dad is a wonderful provider, generous with his family and others, shared his love of music with me, loves to go bowling on our father/daughter dates, and is always looking out for what is truly best for me. I thank God for him. He isn’t perfect, but no father is, except God. I am especially thankful for how Dad has been the spiritual leader of our home.

Who are you thankful for? Are you thankful for your father? Is there another father-figure in your life you are thankful for?
