Character Q & A with Henry

All The Way My Savior Leads

Today I have a special treat for you. First, my new book is out. Second, Henry is here to join us to answer a few questions. I had a few great questions submitted and Henry is waiting to answer them. Be sure to check out the giveaway and other blogs as well.

About the Book

Caroline and I walked out the back door and went into the barn.
“What are we going to do?” Caroline asked.
“Head out on our own. Saddle Whitey, please.”
Caroline’s mouth gaped open. “They’ll find us.”
“I know.”
Caroline sighed. “What can we do then?”
I shook my head. “We can stick together. Always.” Continue reading

The Secret Slipper: A Review

About the Book

Being a cripple is only the beginning of Lia’s troubles. It seems as if Bioti’s goal in life is to make Lia as miserable as possible. If Lia’s purpose is to be a slave, then why did God make her a cripple? How can He make something beautiful out of her deformity?

Raoul never questioned the death of his daughter until someone reports her whereabouts. If Ellia is still alive, how has she survived these ten years with her deformity? When Raoul doesn’t know who to trust, can he trust God to keep Ellia safe when evidence reveals Bioti’s dangerous character?

As time brings more hindrances, will Raoul find Ellia, or will she forever be lost to the father she doesn’t even know is searching for her?

I need your questions

Question

I need some questions and fast (thus the second post in one day). I have a character interview I want to do for my main character of my soon-to-be-released book, “All the Way My Savior Leads.” Is there anything you would like to ask Henry Salisbury? If you don’t know the story at all, but have a question that could still apply to any character of any Historical Fiction book, feel free to chime in.

You can either comment below, email me, or use the contact form to the left.

Here’s the description of the book if that helps at all:

Caroline and I walked out the back door and went into the barn.
“What are we going to do?” Caroline asked.
“Head out on our own. Saddle Whitey, please.”
Caroline’s mouth gaped open. “They’ll find us.”
“I know.”
Caroline sighed. “What can we do then?”
I shook my head. “We can stick together. Always.”

Tragedy stole everything from him … except her …

Three years ago, an illness orphaned Henry and Caroline Salisbury. The harsh years at the orphanage have forged a strong bond between the pair.

But Henry’s about to age out.

He must choose whether to leave his only family behind in relative safety, or take her with him as he pursues dreams of owning a farm. Henry trusts that God has a plan for him, but little does he know that others have plans for him and his younger sister as well. He will need all his faith to find the right path.

Thank you in advance!

Introduction:

First of all, yes I know I am a woman. No, I’m not having a gender identity crisis. There are reasons for me reading this. And yes, it is helpful. I learned more about myself and other women. Especially since I’m not necessarily a typical woman in some areas. Continue reading

For Women Only: A Review

Title: For Women Only
Written By: Shaunti Feldhahn
Genre: Relationship Helps/Non-fiction
Recommended Ages: 13 & up (skipping one chapter if not married)

Introduction:

This was my second time reading this book and I still learned a lot about myself and the men in my life. Even though this book was about how men’s brains work, I found a lot I could relate to personally for myself. In other words, don’t put people in boxes, they won’t always fit. This book would be especially great to read together as a couple. That way you know for sure that’s how your man or woman is really like. If you do that, though, definitely do it with the Feldhahn’s book, For Men Only as well. Continue reading
