Character Q & A with Henry

All The Way My Savior Leads

Today I have a special treat for you. First, my new book is out. Second, Henry is here to join us to answer a few questions. I had a few great questions submitted and Henry is waiting to answer them. Be sure to check out the giveaway and other blogs as well.

About the Book

Caroline and I walked out the back door and went into the barn.
“What are we going to do?” Caroline asked.
“Head out on our own. Saddle Whitey, please.”
Caroline’s mouth gaped open. “They’ll find us.”
“I know.”
Caroline sighed. “What can we do then?”
I shook my head. “We can stick together. Always.”

AlltheWay_KINDLErevisedTragedy stole everything from him … except her …

Three years ago, an illness orphaned Henry and Caroline Salisbury. The harsh years at the orphanage have forged a strong bond between the pair.

But Henry’s about to age out.

He must choose whether to leave his only family behind in relative safety, or take her with him as he pursues dreams of owning a farm. Henry trusts that God has a plan for him, but little does he know that others have plans for him and his younger sister as well. He will need all his faith to find the right path.

Although this is the second book in the series, it can be read as a standalone.

Note: 50% of my income from this series will go to the World Orphans organization.

Q&A with Henry Sullivan

I’ve invited Henry over here to answer a few questions from you, my readers. I hope you find it enjoyable.

Me: Hi, Henry! It’s a pleasure to have you here. Do you need anything? Water? Coffee? Tea?

Henry: *looks around the small room and sits in a chair* Hello. Thank you for the warm welcome. No, thank you, I don’t need anything.

Me: Great! Let’s get started then.  The first question could have a long answer, but that’s okay. When did you become a Christian, and how?

Henry: *leans back and smiles* Well, it was all Caroline’s fault. Our parents brought us to church every week and I thought that made me a Christian. Then Caroline asked how to become one and I had no idea how to answer her. The next Sunday, I talked to the pastor to find out how and over the next few years, God lead me ever closer to Him.

Me: That is wonderful! I love hearing people’s testimonies. In a related question, what is your favorite book of the Bible?

Henry: Philippians. That book is so encouraging, uplifting, and helpful for so many things. I love reading it over and over again.

Me: My personal favorite is Titus, but Philippians is a wonderful book, too. This one isn’t completely related, but similar. What is your favorite book in general?

Henry: I mostly like to read the Farmer’s Almanac, but at times, I’ll also read other books. My favorite would probably be Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan.

Me: I have read that one, but it’s been a while. I should probably read it again. And for our last question, What is your favorite food?

Henry: *laughing* Such serious questions until that last one. Favorite food. That is an excellent question. At the moment, I think my favorite food is ham and cheese sandwiches with butter mixed with a touch of apple. It’s a simple, but tasty meal.

Me: Thank you for coming here to join us today.

Henry: You’re very welcome.
