The Christmas Duet Blog Tour!

I have a new book out! To celebrate the release, I am teaming up with Rebekah Morris for a blog tour! We both have books that released in November so we decided to do a fun tour for both of our books.

Today I will be sharing a book review of Rebekah’s book, so I will concentrate only on her book in this post, but you can learn more about my book here.

His Law is Love

Book Description:

Will hate and fear drown the song of Christmas love?

Amelia is eagerly anticipating her first Christmas in the west, but she soon finds that her brother-in-law’s worry and her sister’s exhaustion reach far deeper than the cares of a ranch and a family. A rash of fires and cattle thefts is plaguing the area, and the three young orphans they’ve sheltered are under suspicion from their prejudiced neighbors.

As hostilities mount, Amelia seizes every opportunity to help and encourage, but how much can one girl do? Will Reverend Brown win the community over to the true spirit of love? And will help arrive before everything they hold dear is destroyed?

Sing the Wondrous Story: An Orphans of the West Novella

I have a new release! It’s a prequel novella to my final Orphans of the West novel! I’m super excited to share it with you. And it’s on tour along with the novel! Check out the information about the book and the giveaway below!

This book was fun to write. It started as a Pride and Prejudice retelling. But turned into nothing close to that. But I kept it anyway. Because it tells some good backstory for a minor character in my next novel, He Leadeth Me. I loved writing the story of Jason and Jessamine. They were fun characters, although, as usual, I had a minor character I like best of all. When you read the book, keep your eye out for this character. I’d love to hear your guess!

The princess pulled out a knife. She wounded the guard coming toward her and left him crying in pain.

Andrew followed her as she rushed toward the horse of the cruel guard. She mounted with ease and was off.  He called after her, but she was gone.

After a few days, Sir Andrew made it back to the castle. He discovered that the princess had planned her escape from the very beginning and was not celebrated as a hero.

After Sir Andrew recovered from his wounded pride, he led a mission to deal with those that had attacked the princess. The kingdom was safe once again.

Book Review: Finding Christmas Joy by Amanda Tero

It’s Christmas in July! Or, for some of us, it is. If you live in the south like author Amanda Tero, you’re more than ready to think of cold weather. And what better way to do it than to grab some sugar cookies and hot chocolate (trust me, after you read the story, you’ll be craving them!) and settle down for a winter read?

About the Book

Author Interview: Sara Willoughby

A new friend from the Young Writers Workshop is releasing a new book! She’s written what sounds like a great book about chronic illness. She also let me ask her some questions for an author interview.

About the Book

Are you a teenager trying to navigate faith through chronic illness? I’m here to tell you, you are not alone.

When sickness takes over your life, it’s a never-ending battle to make it through each day. How do you cope? How do you keep fighting? Most of all though, how do you find God in the midst of the suffering?

Through my own journey of sickness, I’ve struggled with the same questions—questions we all think but are afraid to ask. My name is Sara, and I’ve been sick with Lyme disease and more since I was fourteen.

Those questions you’re afraid to ask? I’ve asked them too—as have many others. Continue reading
