I have moved!

bigger header

Over the end of the year and a little bit of the new year, I made a change! Next week, this blog will be redirected to a new place. My new website/blog! You can see them here. That goes directly to my website and you can click on “Blog” to see what my new blog looks like.

I don’t have a way to subscribe yet, but I am working on it. I thought I had it figured out, but it hasn’t worked yet. 😛 If you’d like to be subscribed, send me your email address and I should be able to add you in manually once I get things figured out.

Also, please let me know what you think of the new website. And since it is new, feel free to point out any mistakes that are on there.

Lastly!

I am planning to do a giveaway next Friday! So be sure to stop by and enter it.

July Goals (and an exciting announcement!)

Monthly Goals

Can you believe another month is here? I know I can’t! It seems like just yesterday I wrote up my goals for June. A lot has happened, and I’m not just saying that tritely. A LOT has happened. In fact, it was something life-changing. Continue reading

It’s really happening!

What’s really happening? I’m glad you asked. Earlier this spring, I got in contact with someone who had expressed interest in reading books for audio. I asked him for an audition and LOVED what he did with my story. So, I hired him to record it. I don’t know the exact release date since it’s been slightly slow in recording, but I do have a cover thanks to Perry Elisabeth Design!

I absolutely love it and can’t wait to share the audio sample with you soon.

August updates, an announcement, and new goals

August ended up being a busier month than I expected. But it was a good month and I got a lot done.

Updates

In August, I orchestrated a couple of blog tours for some clients which was fun and I was thankful for their business. I also finished as much of the rough draft of Savior, Like a Shepherd as I decided to. I wasn’t sure how to write the end, so I left that for the typing up phase which I have been working on the last week. I am now about 3/4ths of the way through that process with the goal of finishing by Saturday so I can send the manuscript to my beta-readers.

I also published my third novella of the summer (and personal favorite), Blessed Assurance. If you haven’t had a chance to see anything about it yet, scroll down to yesterdays post and meet the main character, Adelaide Brown.

Besides some real life things, I think that’s about it for what happened in August. So now I can share with you the exciting news I found out on Wednesday night! Continue reading

Announcing…

…my shiny, new, second blog. In the last couple of weeks, my new venture of blog tour orchestrations has taken off much faster and more prolifically than I ever expected. Because of that, I decided to create a second blog specifically for the blog tours I orchestrate and/or sign up for. This blog will be for all of my personal Writings, Ramblings, and Reflections.

So, if you would like to learn more about new books, please feel free to head over to my new blog, Bookish Orchestrations. My first (real) post will be going up on June 2nd when Aubrey Hansen stops by for her blog tour.

Also Announcing…

A New Venture

For the new year. On Saturday, I set up an Etsy store for myself.  Right now I only have doilies on there, but I hope to add other handmade items soon as well including some unique crocheted bookmarks. My sister is also considering putting some of her knitted items and possibly her paintings up there someday as well. Check out the store and here are some pictures of the doilies that are up right now.

P.S: They would make great wedding gifts.

I have an announcement…

And I’d like you all to be the first to hear it!*

Actually, it’s more than one announcement and I hope you are all as excited as I am.

First

On SaleI have another sale coming up soon. A Mighty Fortress will be free January 24-28 and will be advertised on Bookbub on January 24th. ^_^ Be Thou My Vision will be on sale January 24-28(?), and Redeemed will be free January 24-28, plus as I mentioned yesterday, Life and Salvation is discounted through January 31st. Today dawn’s a new day

Picture22Wow. The last four weeks have been a whirlwind and very different. First, I published Amazing Grace on Kindle, then I finished the rough draft of Lily of the Valley and the editing of I Love Thee, next I had problems with the paperback for Amazing Grace. Through all of this, I resigned from my job, giving my boss a four week notice.

Yesterday was my last day working there and today is my first day of being home full-time to write full-time. It’s an exciting time and I am so thankful to have a supportive family. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to do this at all. So, thank you Dad, Mom, Lydia, Naomi, and Seth!

I’m really looking forward to what God has planned for me, but I also know I’m going to need accountability and support. If you would like to help hold me accountable, please email, Facebook message, or call me (if you have my phone number) and I would love to talk with you to figure out a way for you to hold me accountable. If you would simply like to support me you can either send me money (just kidding!), pray for me (requests listed below), or send me an encouraging note somehow at various times. Thank you!
