Happy Valentine’s Day!  On this day of promoting love, I wanted to share what true love really is.

True love is sacrificing yourself, your desires, your wants for another person.  True love was epitomized on the cross when Jesus, the only sinless man, took our sin on Himself so that we could have eternal life in heav

en.  It is only because of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice that we-sinful, wretched beings that we are- can even consider going to heaven.

Love’s Healing Power

 

Love’s Healing Power was a sweet and poignant Western Romance.  A romance of love between two people who have loved each other since they parted ways less than a year before.

Love’s Healing Power is a stand-alone sequel to Love’s Golden Quest.  As such, it continues expounds on a subplot from the first book and continues the main plot as a subplot.  However, this was done in such a way that you do not need to read the first book before you read the second book.

Ms. Adams has a talent for capturing the moods, emotions, and struggles of her characters.  I fell in love with Wesley and MaryBeth right away.  Wesley’s struggles with not being good enough for MaryBeth were described well as were MaryBeth’s struggles with trying not to fall in love with Wesley again.
