Introduction:

I have read two if Gary Chapman’s books before (The Five Love Languages and Five Love Languages for Singles) and enjoyed them. When my friend gave my fiance and I this book, I knew I wanted to read it before our wedding. I’m glad I did. We had already talked about many of the things Gary mentions in his book, but there were a few that I think will be very helpful for us as we get married and move past the “tingles.”

For Men Only: A Review

Introduction:

First of all, yes I know I am a woman. No, I’m not having a gender identity crisis. There are reasons for me reading this. And yes, it is helpful. I learned more about myself and other women. Especially since I’m not necessarily a typical woman in some areas.

For Women Only: A Review

Recommended Ages: 13 & up (skipping one chapter if not married)

Introduction:

This was my second time reading this book and I still learned a lot about myself and the men in my life. Even though this book was about how men’s brains work, I found a lot I could relate to personally for myself. In other words, don’t put people in boxes, they won’t always fit. This book would be especially great to read together as a couple. That way you know for sure that’s how your man or woman is really like. If you do that, though, definitely do it with the Feldhahn’s book, For Men Only as well.
